Begin The Journey When writing what I like to do is first pick a genre. Such as: THRILLER HORROR COMEDY ROMANCE SCIENCE FICTION ETC. There are so many genres to choose from, and believe me it's not a pick one and run with it kind of thing. You need to pick one that you truly can get into. One that excites you the most. Don't do what some people do and base it off of what makes the most. Because if you are writing only to make money, then your writing will never make you a dime. You need to write because it's a passion, not just because it can make you money. The next thing you need to do is get a notebook (Or use NotePad on your computer.) and write down these next 5 things down: PLOT SETTING CHARACTERS CHARACTER TRAITS (Now this next one is just something I like to do and it may actually be something you may end up liking as well. But trust me it's not for everyone.) 5.THE WAY YOU WANT THE BOOK TO END Now that last one is rather f...
